Fashion Industry
How can i pursue a career within the Fashion industry?
I have a passion to pursue a career within the fashion industry. I would like to be involved with the events side of things, eventually becoming a Fashion Events coordinator. At the moment i have no relevant qualifications for the industry. I have GCSE’s and a NVQ in Business Administration.
I am willing to start from the bottom, maybe being a runner or even a receptionist. Can i have some advice on how i should go about getting into this career.
You do need some knowledge in that area for such a job, so you would have to start from the bottom, and push on. Browse http://www.eventplanningjobs.net/ and see what is on offer. You certainly wouldn’t start with exquisite event planning, but you can work and learn in the meantime. Find something that suits you there, and be patient, and hardworking. It is a must, if you want to succeed if you actually have no experience. You will have to seriously prove yourself.
Or, go to school, and speed things up.
